Helghast was an early major power in the Teen Grid, founded by several; avatars. As a major group, they sought gridwide unification under their banner. Their major rivals laid in the embodiment of Black Fire and Fort Superz. In a three-prong war, the first gridwide, called the Helghast War, defections from Helghast to Black Fire led to Helghast's destruction, and with this power void enhancing Black Fire still, Fort Superz fell shortly after. Helghast has recently regrouped under Jeston Xi under the name Naturlich, being alled with New Rome and Sparta, possibly the Valkyrie Alliance.
