The Corellian Consortium was created by a conglomeration of Corellian special interest groups and projected the image of an affiliation of wealthy citizens, venture capitalists and business executives who decided to pool their resources and influence together to create a better Corellia. Members were active in galactic trade, employee recruiting and often invested in new companies and enterprises. They also acted as business consulars, agents, mediators and at times ambassadors in trade negotiations.
