The Circle in the Square Theatre is a Broadway theatre in New York City. In the same building as the Gershwin Theatre, built in 1972, it was the first new theatre on Broadway since 1928. Today, it houses the musical The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. The theatre is also associated with and houses a professional acting conservatory. One previous occupant of the site was Thomas W. Lamb's Capitol Theater.
