It's the day of Sarah's operation. At the Dingles', Cameron arrives and asks Lisa to give Sarah a cuddly toy he has brought. However, Lisa refuses to do him any favours and throws it on the bonfire when he's gone. Over at the hospital, Debbie tries to hold it together - she knows her mum was only trying to protect her by preparing her for the worst and draws strength from Cain. Sarah is frightened but tries to be brave as the nurse preps her for surgery, and Debbie wills things to be okay. After the operation, Andy and Debbie sit with Sarah, and Debbie is tearful as she takes a call from Cameron. He tells her how strong she is and that everything is going to be okay.
