The Kamiat Nebula is a nebula in the Alpha Quadrant that is near Cardassian space and the Badlands. The USS Enterprise charted the Kamiat Nebula in 2268. Captain James T. Kirk named the nebula after Professor Kamiat, the senior astrophysicist at Starfleet Academy at the time.
