Qynem Lij Sunnar was male Kaleesh soldier who served as a sergeant in the Imperial Army of the reconstituted Sith Empire. A warrior from his home planet of Kalee, Sunnar was conscripted by the Empire after it subjugated the world in 3,679 BBY. Despite becoming a decorated Imperial war hero, Sunnar did not really believe in the ideals of the Empire. He was simply serving out his draft. However, he was not a supporter of the Galactic Republic either. After serving in the Empire until the end of the Great Galactic War, Sunnar became a traveling merchant, and, ironically, became a companion of a Jedi Knight during the Cold War.
