George Schenck is an American screenwriter who has written various episodes for NCIS with his writing partner, Frank Cardea. At the end of NCIS Season 9, both Scheneck and Cardea were promoted to Executive Producers. On November 4, 2016, Scheneck and Cardea were announced as the new co-showrunners for NCIS, replacing showrunner Gary Glasberg who had died suddenly in September 2016.
