The Taris Resistance was the name given to the armed group of Tarisians that fought against Mandalorian occupation during the Taris Siege in 3963 BBY. After the Mandalorians stormed Taris in one of the first major offensives of the Mandalorian Wars, Republic Senator Haydel Goravvus retreated to Taris' Lower City and formed the Resistance out of surviving law enforcement and assorted locals, managing to hold onto a few blocks of territory despite being under constant attack by the invaders.
