Yojimbo's Burden were polished fist-sized pair of stones invented by an Isawa Shugenja which ensured a yojimbo could stand in harm's way of his charge. These stones were smooth, and dark, with a few kanji inscribed lightly on the surface. The nemuranai teleported the yojimbo, if the command word was spoken, to where the person carrying the "shugenja" stone was standing and the holder of the "shugenja" stone was teleported to where the yojimbo was a moment before.
