The Republican Party are the ruling political party in the Darnussian Republic, in coalition with the Democrats. They were founded in 3203 due to the rules stating paramilitary organisations could not run in elections. As a result, each of the four major paramilitaries founded a political wing to bypass the rules. The Republican Party are currently the only parliamentary party in the Darnussian Republic independent from a paramilitary, after breaking ties with their founders the Kozarian Freedom Army in 3205.
