On April 1, 2014, it was announced that Wookieepedia would become a pay-to-read subscription service. A popup started appearing on several major pages, including the Main Page. In addition, Wikia's Chat feature was activated temporarily to provide a live chat with the admins to discuss the impending subscription service. Other pranks included the featuring of the Breast article on the Main Page. Some Wookieepedians were against the breast image.
