Calidna is a planet in a system that bears its name. It is a mild, temperate planet, though it is much like Kamino, Aquaris, and Bestine IV in that it is completely covered with water. There are only a few islands on which people can live, and many of the people live on the water itself, in habitats chained to the bottom of the seafloor to anchor them. The population is incredibly low for a highly developed planet, but the explanation for it is easily found when one considers what Calidna is home to.
