Iona Kinslayer is an Elder Black Fury. She gained respect during the Nazi occupation of Greece, in which she fought the Germans and helped save The Sept of Bygone Visions, one of the most powerful caerns of her tribe from the Wyrm. She is an Artisan (Galliard) of the Outer Calyx. She received her name when she killed her own bane-tainted kinfolk. She is a superb tactician and has supported the Freebooters around the world. She is acerbic, outspoken, and ill-tempered, and thus unpopular among other Furies. Nonetheless, she has a dry wit.
