By the beginning of Crossroads of Twilight, Talene's allegiance has been discovered by Pevara, Yukiri and the others, and she has been forced to swear again on the Oath Rod. She has named Atuan Larisett as Black Ajah as well, and is kept guarded but not a prisoner.
