The Third Shift was a Yahoo!Group for members of Forever Knight fandom who either get up in the wee hours of the morning, stay up until late, or work nights. As a result, members of the Third Shift were unable to join in the usual Forever Knight chat, held in the late evening. Instead, they held their own chat room in the late morning, around brunch time.
