Emily O'Leary (nee Shadwick) was a fictional character in the defunct Channel 4 soap opera Brookside. She was portrayed by Jennifer Ellison from 1998 until the character's death in 2003 after spending four months in a coma caused by a fall from a window while trying to flee her home during the Brookside seige of 2002.
