Mado was a female Italian mob boss who wore a hood and a mask over her mouth. After escaping from a prison hospital, Mado killed a scientist named D'Ara and kidnapped his neice, Elena, to get blueprints for the construction of a large and powerful robot. Elena's brother built a similar robot with which to defeat Mado's Mechanical Man.
