One of Winter's Sect of Faceless Assassins' goal was for its players to be Alliance versus Alliance focused. Despite having less than one hundred members and less than fifty war participants, it still managed to be top ten in their chosen region for many phases, even once winning the Gold Trade award during Eel Shock Phase. For many phases WSoFA's greatest ally was the alliance A Song of Ice and Fire, and so it seemed fitting that the two alliances merge, and once again "the assassins" are reincarnated. At the time of this writing, the alliance is now called A Song of Faceless Assassins.
