Bardat is a world in the Romulan Star Empire. In 2344 Spock masqueraded as First Academician of Bardat, Symakhos, while working undercover on Romulus. When a dissident from Bardat claimed to not recognize him, Spock revealed his true identity. (TOS novel: Vulcan's Heart) It can be presumed that either the position of First Academician is well-known on Bardat, or (more likely) the world has a small population, considering how quick the dissident was to dismiss Spock's alter ego as not from Bardat.
