The Paternoster Gang are recurring characters in Doctor Who. They are a trio of detectives who resident in Victorian England and have aided The Eleventh Doctor many times. The members consist of a female Silurian named Madame Vastra, her human maid and wife Jenny Filnt and a Sontaran named Strax. They appeared in the Eleventh Doctor episodes A Good Man Goes To War, The Snowmen, The Crimson Horror and The Name of The Doctor and most recently Deep Breath with The Twelfth Doctor.
