Akuma is the soul of a fallen celestial interwined with the Aasimir known as Laken Cascade, how it came to reside within Laken is unknown, it may have been put there or it may have attached himself to Laken finding a comfort within however it is now intwined with Lakens soul and short of death or severign the bond there is not much that can be done to remove him
