Isengrim Took (III) (TA 2832–2930) was a Hobbit of the Shire . He was the eldest son and child of Gerontius Took and, as Isengrim III, served as the 27th Thain of the Shire (2920–2930). He had no children. He was Bilbo's uncle and Frodo's grand-uncle.
