"Elmo the King" is a song from the Sesame Park special Basil Hears a Noise. Shepherd Basil wanders into the woods, where he meets the Creatures of the Forest, led by King Elmo. The creatures musically vent to the shepherd about a mysterious prankster causing all sorts of problems for them. King Elmo's crown has been sat upon, bending it out of shape, all of the tailor's pants have the legs sewn together and the royal trumpeter's horn has been messed with.
