Satoshi Matsumura is a programmer, technical supporter, coordinator and tester at Nintendo. Matsumura has not been credited in a game since 2003, suggesting he is no longer with the company. During his time at Nintendo, from 1988 to 2003, Matsumura programmed several games. In Super Metroid and Metroid Fusion, he is credited as special thanks; he likely contributed to or consulted on the programming of the games. Matsumura filed a patent in the late 90s with Masafumi Sakashita and Yoshihiro Taki.
