When Vulcan was attacked by the Narada in 2258, Petrovsky was assigned to the USS Antares to assist in the rescue attempts. He or she was presumably killed when the Antares was destroyed in the battle. (Star Trek) The spelling of the name is from the subtitles of the Star Trek (DVD).
