Kainops is a genus of trilobites from the order Phacopida, suborder Phacopina. This genus can easily be mistaken as Phacops, Paciphacops and Viaphacops. They differ from Phacops by having a long protruding glabella. They differ from Paciphacops by having more eye facets. Kainops can be found in some Lower Devonian rocks in the United States and Australia. Some Known Species and Locations.
