[Source] A meson taloscope was a high-precision instrument that was used for subatomic analysis. An eyepiece and a talo-effect "lens" allowed the user to view subatomic particles such as mesons. One meson taloscope was kept aboard Queen Amidala's J-type 327 Nubian royal starship around the time of the Invasion of Naboo.
