Geographically, eastern and southern Haxroxex are quite lush and support dense populations. The northern interior and west are extremely arid, suffering from an extreme rain shadow. Haxroxex shares a political structure similar to that of Kereske. Four formerly independent kingdoms (Xemex, Uvitxi, Qayol, and Tlek) have broad autonomy within their borders, but certain national issues fall under the jurisdiction of the the King of Xemex. Haxroxex was formed by the Union of Xemex and Uvitxi in 633 BU after the Uvitxian economy collapsed and the government could no longer fund itself, following a disastrous attempt to seize the Ngefth Islands. The Kingdom of Xemex offered to shoulder the Uvitxian in debt in exchange for a political union.
