The AAPA-CCP Coalition, also referred to as just The Coalition is a coalition consisting of the centrist party Ad Astra Per Aspera and the Centre-right party Centrist Conservative Party. The Coalition was formed before the September 2009 election by then Prime Minister Sir William Buttersworth and the Leader of the Opposition Kay Jackson. Despite concerns that the Coalition would collapse after the disappearance of Sir William Buttersworth, the Coalition was maintained after the new CCP party leader Lord Wallace Buttersworth announced his desire to uphold the CCP's role as a Coalition partner.
