Extreme Makeover: Home Edition is a TV show where a team of designers, builders and home makeover specialists participate in "making over" a home. Initially, it was a challenge to see if they could remodel a home in 7 days, but it has evolved to normally include the demolition of the existing structure and constructing a completely new building and decorating it within seven days. In 2007-2008, they have been working on a project per state in all 50 United States of America. The fall 2008 season is their 6th.
