Photoblogging is a website whose primary content is photographs displayed in a log format. While a typical blog uses text as its primary form of communication, in a photoblog the emphasis is photographs. A blog can be considered a photoblog when the emphasis is on the photography and the images are not just used to illustrate the text. Flickr and other photosharing services make photoblogging easier by supporting the Blogger API and the XML-RPC interface, which allows one-click posting to a variety of blogging tools such as Blogger, Movable Type, WordPress, and others.
