The Kathol Realm, also known as the Kathol Empire, as a region of space in the Outer Rim regions that was controlled by the ancient Kathol species, prior to their extinction. Allegedly, the Kathol Realm was composed of over one hundred star systems prior to its collapse, which was the source of speculation by the xenoarcheological galactic community. It was theorized by some that the Kathol Realm was destroyed by the Rakatan Infinite Empire, while others speculated the Kathol retreated into Otherspace prior to their own extinction.
