The Videssian Sea was a land-locked sea on the northern boundary between the Empire of Videssos and the Pardraya plains. The western side of the sea was the Vaspurakan mountains while the eastern had the Khatrish Khaganate between Videssos and the plains. The Videssian Sea connected to the Sailor's Sea by the Cattle Crossing, a narrow strait which was dominated and controlled by Videssos the city itself.
