A device such as this one has never been invented in our universe, but any fencer would die of envy over it and might well kill to own one. It teaches fencing the hard way, the only way fencing should be taught. This is a rather moderate design intended to teach beginners in the art of fencing so it uses the foil and epee so as to do minimal damage to the student. Other fencing clanks use deadly weapons and much more advanced techniques.
