Gwyneth Powell (born 5th July 1946) is a British actress best known for her role as headmistress Mrs McClusky on BBC school drama Grange Hill, a part she played from 1980 to 1991. On Coronation Street she played Diana Kenton in 1976. She also appeared in the untransmitted pilot of the proposed spin-off from Coronation Street entitled Rest Assured in 1972. Gwyneth's other credits include Emmerdale Farm and Echo Beach.
