Stage: Mexico This boss first appears as an Aztec pyramid, but it is quickly revealed to be a gun turret with two smaller guns flanking it. The pyramid has several layers which are revealed if the player does not destroy it too quickly. Its bottom layer features an eye at the top of the pyramid; this eye is similar to that of the final boss Lar. The concept of an eye atop a pyramid is also related to the Eye of Providence such as that shown on the United States one dollar bill.
