Stage 1 housed several productions including Son of Paleface (1951), The Man Who Knew Too Much (1956), The Man Who Shot Liberty Vallance (1962), Donovan's Reef and Love With the Proper Stranger (1963), The Truman Show (1998), and the television series MacGyver (1985-1992), Nip/Tuck (2003-2010) and Rizzoli & Isles (2010-2017). [1] The stage housed the sets for the Vians' underground complex for the Star Trek: The Original Series episode, "The Empath" , filmed between Friday 26 July 1968 and Friday 2 August 1968 .
