The models in the Jet King series were a nod to the "pawnshop" copy guitars from the 1960s, which Ibanez, among others, sold. The JTK3 features a mahogany body with a split pickguard bolted to a maple neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with offset triangle position markers. Components include dual Ibanez P-90 style single coil pickups and the Full Tune III fixed bridge. The JTK3 was replaced by the JTK30 for 2009.
