Merisee, also known as Merisee Prime, was an agriworld in the Elrood sector, located along the Elrood-Derilyn Run, and was known the "breadbasket" for the entire sector. First contact between the indigenous Meris and Teltiors occurred in 8000 BBY, in an event called the Joining, and the two races fought a war for most of the next millennium, through 7000 BBY. The planet was discovered by the New Republic, but did not ally itself with the government. Tozzin Foods and Utozz Prime Breweries operated on the planet. The ancient assassins cult that produced the Loag Dagger once flourished on Merisee.
