"The Great Garolon" has has lived in the Garden Distrcit of Port Blacksand for five years on the corner of Garden Street and Tree Lane, next to Silversmith's Yard. He was formerly the court artist of the Baron of Shazâar, until painting an unflattering portrait of the Baron's daughter for which he was banished. He is a drunk and a womaniser and sports a long beard. He paints portraits for money (from 10 GP to 10,000 GP) depending upon his liking for the person and his state of sobriety. His mistress sells his works from a stall outside his studio.
