Affliceria was a disease spread through airborne bacterium. It started with a head cold which would rapidly develop into raging fevers and severe dehydration. Left untreated, the disease could kill. The cure was found a hundred years before the Second Galactic Civil War and it was pronounced extinct not long after. As retaliation for the asteroids dropped on Commenor's population centers, Commenori spies began spreading the disease on Coruscant. Due to having no stores of the antibiotic for the disease, the epidemic spread rampantly through the population and resulted in massive personnel shortage in critical fabrication industries.
