A bathysphere was a vessel used to travel deep underwater, and also within the dense gravitic layers of a gas giant. Aquatic bathyspheres were used extensively on the planet Dac. The smuggler Roark Garnet once crossed paths with the crew of an Imperial-controlled bathysphere.
