Lock and Key is a 2014 American Drama film written by Carl Lund and directed by Tony Kaye starring Zoey Deutch, Cameron Palatas, Dylan Everett, Sarah Silverman, Stanley Tucci, Julianne Moore, Will Arnett, Joseph Fiennes, Allie Grant and Skyler Samuels. The film is based on the 2008 novel of the same name written by Sarah Dessen. The film was released theatrically on October 12th, 2014 to positive reception and grossed double it's budget in it's opening theatrical opening weekend. The film was primarily shot in Ann Arbor, Michigan and Montreal, Canada.
