John Burgoyne was a British army officer who fought in the American Revolutionary War. He surrended his army of 5800 men to the American troops during the war. He appears in Uchronie, where he was kidnapped by aliens and they experimented on him, putting him in a state of near-immortality and constantly forcing him to replay his memory of the surrender.
