Homo Erectus were a prehistoric human subspecies, precursors of modern humans. Homo Erectus lived about 1.8-1.9 million years ago in parts of Asia and Africa. According to Doctor Daniel Jackson, the similar Touched had a larger brow ridge and missing canines compared to Australopithecus. (SG1: "The Broca Divide")
