Dick Cook is a former NASCAR driver from Lakewood, CA. He competed in three Nextel Cup Series events in his career. All of those races came in 1961, when Cook debuted at Hanford. Starting 25th in the field, Cook drove to a midpack 13th place finish. He was able to match that finish with a 13th at Riverside but transmission issues left him 18th at Los Angeles.
