Zarodnix was the richest man in the Galaxy, possibly the universe, though this may have been a rumour put about by his media. He resurrected Morbius (in an aborted timeline) using gene splicing technology on the remains of his brain, having taken the genes from the captured Time Lord Straxus. He was defeated by the Eighth Doctor who deactivated Morbius' stellar manipulator allowing the Time Lords to correct the flow of time, removing Morbius' new Empire from existence.
