The Galactic Alliance Navy, also called the Galactic Alliance Defense Fleet, was the spacebourne branch of the military of the Galactic Federation of Free Alliances. It possessed many former New Republic starships. In 30 ABY, following the Skirmish in Imperial City, the Navy attempted to stop crime lord Sang Juntao for escaping aboard his yacht, but were held up by his fleet.
