Optical transducer panels were nearly transparent sensors that could be retrofitted to a starship. In 16 ABY, the Wookiee Jowdrrl covered the viewports of the Millennium Falcon's loading hatches and quad laser cannon turrets with custom-fitted optical transducer panels. The sensors routed their output to flatscreen displays in the cockpit, which eliminated most of the ship's blind spots.
