This technique was first activated involuntarily to send Echo back in time during The Watchers event. Somehow after this first mysterious use, Echo was able to retain this ability. This technique takes the form of a temporal vortex that swallows Echo, or his target, in a very similar fashion to Kamui — another Mangekyō-based space-time ninjutsu. It is presumed that he can warp to other times as well, but he has yet to discover this to be true.
